NOTES FOR GUESTS RECEIVING NAIL OR HAIR SERVICES

• We provide regular nail polish manicures and pedicures only - no gel or dip powder. Time doesn’t permit for removal of gel or powder dip nail polish. Difficulty in the removal of nail polish may result in an attendee not being able to participate in the manicure or pedicure portion of parties, as applicable.

• No cutting or pulling of cuticles is performed during nail services.

• Guests are encouraged to come nail polish-free, and with their hair brushed.

• Guests receiving pedicure services may want to bring flip-flops. We can provide disposable foam slippers, but they can be harder for little ones to walk in.

POSH POLICIES AND LIABILITY CLAUSE

Age-Range: Our parties/services are designed for children ages 5-12 and are tailored to the age of the birthday child or guest of honor. We have accommodated children under age 5, however we leave it to the parent/guardian to decide if their child is ready for this type of service (e.g., able to sit for hair styling, allowing nails to dry, etc.).

Deposits: $50.00 deposit required to book a party and $25.00 deposit for an individual service appointment. Upon sending your deposit, you're securing your date and providing your understanding and consent of and to POSH Party Spa's policies and liability clause. See Rescheduling/Cancellations below related to your deposit.

Payments: We accept cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit and debit cards. The total cost of your party, plus tax, is due on the day of your party, at the conclusion of your event. We don't automatically add gratuity to our packages. While tipping is always appreciated, it’s not required or expected.

Food/Cake: You’re welcome to bring cake or cupcakes, along with plates, napkins, and drinks, which will be served during the last 10-15 minutes of your party. Other food items cannot be accommodated during the standard party timeframe. If you'd like to bring pizza, we offer a Time Add-On that extends your party by 30 minutes for a $60 fee. Please note: snacks beyond cake or cupcakes (e.g., chips, popcorn, candy, etc.) are not permitted. Party Times: Parties consisting of eight to 12 guests are typically two hours with 10 to 15 minutes spent at the end for cake/cupcakes. Parties with pedicures selected as a service are two and a half hours. As the host, you may arrive up to 10 minutes before your party begins, and your guests may be dropped off at the start time of the party. If you add time to provide pizza for your guests, pizza is served and eaten during the first 30 minutes of your party, before POSH services, and the last 10 to 15 minutes of your party are still allocated to cake/cupcakes and singing happy birthday.

Guest Count/Confirmations: If more than the confirmed number of guests attend the party, we'll do our best to accommodate the addition(s) but, time and resources are planned in advance. Your party will be charged for additional guests and some services may not be possible.

Late Arrivals: Should any of your guests arrive late, it could reduce the number of services they're provided.

Rescheduling/Cancellations: We understand that life happens, especially with children. In the event you need to reschedule your party or service due to unforeseen circumstances, your deposit can be applied to a future, mutually agreed upon date, based on availability. POSH tends to be booked to full capacity for parties and so a cancellation impacts several areas of our small business -- including our other clients. For this reason, deposits are not refundable for client cancellations. If POSH must cancel and reschedule for any of the following reasons, including but not limited to, illness, inclement weather, power outage, an accident, act of God, etc., we shall not be deemed in default or otherwise liable under these rules and policies due to our inability to perform our obligations. In this case, your deposit can be applied to a future, mutually agreed upon date, based on availability, or can be refunded; whichever is preferred.

Lice: We use sanitized hairbrushes/combs for each party/event. If a child shows up with lice, no hair services will be performed during the party, and that child’s caretaker will be contacted for pick-up. If a guest in your group has recently had lice and received treatment, please make the POSH team aware ahead of time. For more detailed information, check out our blog post.

Photo, Video & Online Use Release: By attending a party or event at POSH Party Spa, you and/or your child(ren) consent to photography and video recording (i.e., we may take photos or videos of you), and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of such media for promotional purposes, advertising, or inclusion on our website and social media channels.

Additionally, when paying a birthday party deposit or event invoice, you acknowledge and agree to the following on behalf of yourself and your guests: In consideration of my child(ren)’s and their guests’ participation at POSH Party Spa (“POSH”), I grant permission for POSH staff to use their likeness, appearance, performance, or voice in any and all forms of media for purposes of promotion, reporting, or publication. POSH may use my child(ren)’s and their guests’ likeness, voice, and biographical material in connection with the publication, promotion, exhibition, or distribution of such materials. I understand that no royalty, fee, or other compensation of any kind shall be payable to me or my child(ren) by reason of this release or the use of any photo or video.

Opt-Out Option: If you wish to opt out of photos and videos of you and/or your child(ren), please email us at info@poshpartyspa.com or let a POSH Team Member know at the beginning of your party or event.

LIABILITY CLAUSE

By reserving a party with POSH Party Spa and paying the requested deposit, you’re agreeing to utilize our services at your own risk. The business, affiliates, owners, employees, other party and/or spa attendees, and customers aren’t responsible for injuries, accidents, allergies/allergic reactions, or any other potential unforeseen circumstance that could occur in a spa/party environment with other children of various ages. As the party host, you agree to adhere to this notice and assume liability and responsibility for yourself and your guests, including participants and non-participants. Non-participants are any persons who are on the premises during the event. Our services may or may not be performed by a licensed cosmetologist and are intended for entertainment purposes only.
